TUBA SHACK THEATRE PRESENT ‘SCARECROW SHOWDOWN’
Following the success of their last project, ‘Pig Shed’, Tuba Shack Theatre Co. now invites the local student community to try out the company’s unique process for themselves. In the weeks around Halloween and Bonfire Night, participants will be encouraged to get out onto campus, the streets and beyond to collect discarded materials from hedgerows, drains and skips, so to build a scarecrow in our scarecrow competition. The project aims to rally the support we had during the Pig Shed construction, integrate further the stage one and stage two students and to have a bit of a Guy Fawkes bash. The winning team will join the company as we enter a real and recognised scarecrow competition next year!
The event is taking place on Saturday the 5th of November, with the two hour build time stretching from 14:00 - 16:00, at 35 Glasney Place, Penryn. But of course anyone is welcome to turn up at 16:00 for the judging and ensuing party.
Keep checking back to stay updated.

To register your team and organise paying the nominal £5 entry fee, contact either Will or Marc (details below) and we look forward to seeing you and your creations soon!
